Urban Geography
At University of Hamburg, I teach seminars attached to Political and Economic Geography and Population Geography with a qualitative approach.
My seminar attached to Political and Economic Geography is titled “Material Politics.” It aims to rethink the materialities involved in that which is termed “the economy” as the stuff of an embodied and situated politics whose effects do not wholly predate but also arise out of the relations that constitute the focus of economics.
My seminar attached to Population Geography is titled Urban Geography and it aims to prioritize the constituencies excluded from and marginalized by predominant understandings of the urban.
